Why we made it

While working with dermatologists, we learned that 5-10% of skin cancer is found around the eyes*. This daytime eye cream was specially formulated to provide essential sun protection for the thin, delicate skin around your eyes, which is more prone to UV damage, aging and hyperpigmentation that can lead to dark circles. How to Apply

Use Bright-Eyed 100% Mineral Eye Cream in your daily skincare routine.

  1. Cleanse skin and apply your favorite moisturizer
  2. Apply Bright-Eyed generously and evenly around the eye area, gently blending in with your ring finger
  3. Allow 30 seconds for product to set before completing your routine

EXPERT TIP

The skin around your eyes is very thin and prone to UV damage, so it's important to keep it protected with daily SPF!

Uses

Helps prevent sunburn • If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun

Warnings

For external use only • Do not use on damaged or broken skin • Stop use and aska doctor if rash occurs • When using this product keep out of eyes • Rinse with water to remove • Keep out of reach of children • If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away

Directions

Apply generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure • Reapply at least every 2 hours • Use a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating • Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with broad spectrum SPF of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: • Limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. • Wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses • Children under 6 months: Ask a doctor

Great non-irritating sunscreen for around the eyes

"This is better than any other sunscreen I've used around my eye area because it's completely non-irritating, which means I actually use it. However, the container is tiny and the consistency of the cream has been variable - it started very thick, and now maybe ~10 uses in it's gotten a lot thinner. I'm not sure I'm always getting the same SPF protection and I'm worried the thinner consistency means it's going to run out soon."

Lightens up my under eye beautifully!

"I ALWAYS were sunscreen; whereas it used to be Glowscreen all day long, I now rotate it with Mattescreen (a new favorite!). Sometimes I need just a little lift of color in my under-eyes, and Bright-Eyed Mineral Eye Cream is PERFECT. It works in the dead of winter when I’m pale, it works in the middle of summer when I’m much darker; it lightens up just enough to make me look awake and amazing, not like I put a full face of makeup on. BEST spf for eyes

"I can't use regular mineral or chemical spf around my eyes because they all cause some degree of stinging/redness/watery eyes. There are only a handful of spf for the eye area and I've tried them all - this one is not perfect but it is definitely the best of the bunch. I've repurchased twice. I can apply to undereye, brow bone and even inner and outer corners (it's brightening!) with zero irritation. Doesn't seep into eyes like all the others. Like a lot of mineral spf, it's kinda thick and pasty so a bit fiddly to apply and takes some practice. I use a bit of eye cream underneath, let that absorb for at least 5 minutes, then use a mix of gentle sweeping and a few pats. Work quickly one eye at a time with enough product to coat the whole undereye area because it starts drying down quickly and like a lot of mineral spf it will pill if you keep moving it around or try to add more. It works great under my favorite creamy concealers as long as I wait for it to fully set before patting concealer on top. I usually put on all my skincare and spf first thing in the morning, check email, brush teeth etc. and then apply makeup. Between this and an oversized pair of sunnies, I feel like my eyes finally have the protection they deserve."

"I placed my order early on a Wednesday morning and received it on Thursday. How’s that for service. I love all your products and was so excited when I saw you had a brightening eye cream. I have already gotten sun burn on both of my eyelids this year and believe me when I say it was an awful experience. Love your unseen sunscreen and came upon that last year in a store that I haven’t been to in years. I’ve been telling everyone about the unseen and already shared the sample you sent. Broken pump…twice.

"I ADORE Supergoop! I literally use Unseen Screen everyday. But I ordered the Bright-Eyed Mineral Eye Cream SPF 40 and it came with a lose cap. No worries I thought and screw it back on. Started pumping, don’t work. The tube was broken off the pump and in the bottle and the product was dried up. Send an email to Customer Service. Received a new on. Same thing! Lose cap, broken pump, dried up. Definitely a QC problem somewhere in their process. Super bummed."

Would it make sense to apply this eye cream over a thicker eye cream? I really love thick eye creams, but I’d also like some sun protection.
Hi Johanna, You can apply only this as your eye cream if you wish, but if you'd like to layer with another eye cream then please apply the eye cream without SPF first, and then apply Bright-Eyed Eye Cream last! 💛
